An isolated area in North Pindos range, still much unknown and very little visited. We will cross pine forests, climb on high peaks (2637m), and visit small nomadic villages, which still keep the traditional lifestyle! We start crossing the Lyngas Mountains a small volcanic mountainrange with big pine forests, next to the Valley of Aoos River. The home of the brown bear, a place rich in wildlife and land of the Vlachos, a nomadic folk which now lives in this part of Greece. We climb Greece’s second highest peak Mt. Smolikas, and we cross Valia Kalda a protected area known for its wildlife and forest.
