We bike in the heart of Pindos Mountains, under the high peaks of Mt. Smolikas. The route starts from Samarina, one of the highest villages in Greece. We ride the forest road through pine forest, crossing streams and rivers until we reach Distrato which is built at the foot of Mt. Vasilitsa. We rest and overnight there. The next day we cross one of the most virgin areas of Greece. Home of the brown bear, thick forest, rich in wildlife, is our route towards Vovousa, where we end our trip, in a village taverna!
