Based on Vasilitsa Ski resort, we organize snow shoe walks in places around the beautiful mountain.
- The Silent Forest
A beautiful tour inside the beech forest, learn about the legends and the history of the area. We hike on deep snow until we reach the small stream valley, where we rest, drinking some hot tea or local drink "tsipouro".
- The frozen Alpine lake
At this tour we walk on alpine terrain, over the frozen lake. We go jumping and running on snow, while enjoying the views around Vasilitsa. The tour will end in a comfortable chalet on the ski resort!
- Moonshine & Sunrise
It is a unique experience to see the sun rising, behind Mt. Olympus, from 2000m high! We hike at Baldouma peak, having great views to the east and enjoy the beautiful sunshine, with a warm coffee! Under the moonlight, walk on snow! We hike in the night like the wolves… Incretable feeling as you walk in the Greek mountains, it feels more like… Alaska! All the walks are easy and for everyone! We provide snow shoes and poles, and an experienced local guide!
